Before You Book

Please review the following policies before booking your session. By submitting your deposit and booking a session, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.

Deposit

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session date and time. Your date is not considered booked until the deposit has been received.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations and rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled session.

Cancellations result in the forfeiture of the $50 deposit.
Rescheduling with at least 48 hours’ notice allows your deposit to be transferred to your new date.
Last-minute cancellations or rescheduling requests may result in the loss of your deposit.

Please Be On Time

Jhay Editions does not charge late fees. However, your session time does not change based on your arrival time.

Any time missed due to arriving late will be deducted from your session.

Example: A 1-hour session with a 15-minute late arrival becomes a 45-minute session. Your session price remains the same.

No-Shows

Failure to attend your scheduled session without prior communication will result in the loss of your deposit and may make you ineligible to book future sessions with Jhay Editions.

Additional Guests

To keep sessions comfortable, organized and focused, clients may bring up to 1 additional guest to their session.

For sessions involving children, up to 2 additional guests may accompany the client.

Communication Is Key

Please communicate! Any important details, special requests, must-have images, group combinations, wardrobe concerns, props, or other requests should be communicated before your session.

Jhay Editions is not responsible for missed images or requests that were not communicated in advance.

Cooperation

The quality and variety of your gallery can depend on cooperation from everyone involved.

Jhay Editions is not responsible for missed or limited images due to lack of cooperation from the Client, children, family members, pets, or other individuals participating in the session.

Weather & Lighting

Photography is affected by lighting, weather, location conditions, and other circumstances outside of the Photographer’s control.

Jhay Editions will use professional judgment to work with the conditions available but cannot guarantee a specific lighting, weather, background, or environmental result.

Personal Belongings & Props

Jhay Editions is not responsible for lost, damaged, stolen, or misplaced personal belongings or props brought to the session by the Client.

Please keep track of your personal items throughout your session.

Gallery Delivery

Your final gallery will be delivered within 7-12 days after your session.

Once your gallery is delivered, images will be available for 7 days. Please download and safely store your images during this time.

Add-Ons & Extras

Any additional images, edits, prints, products, or other add-ons must be requested within the 7-day gallery availability period.

Requests made after this period may not be available.

Artistic Style

Photography is an artistic service. Final image selection, editing, color, cropping, posing, and overall creative direction are determined by Jhay Editions.

Specific poses, images, expressions, or results cannot be guaranteed.

Concerns & Communication

If you have a concern regarding your session or delivered services, please contact Jhay Editions directly so we have an opportunity to address the concern.

We ask that all concerns be communicated professionally and in good faith.
